Excel Programming

Excel was definitely a contributing factor in the huge success of Microsoft. In 1987 it started outselling it's competitor Lotus 1-2-3 and has been the spreadsheet powerhouse ever since. It is a very powerful program and can be used for much more than just an accounting/tracking package or even a spreadsheet.

Here at dafpent Designs, we have written Excel programs that calculalate hole punchings in steel beams, complete material list designs and have even used Excel to fuel AutoCAD in complete drawing packages.
